In this scenario the student is signing in with their email address. The new ID management system requires that all customers reset their password. During the transition the customer will also be able to change their email address on file if they prefer.
This is an edge case scenario that only impacts 10% of the customer base.
In this situation, a student is signing in with a email after the implementation of our new ID management system. This process will allow the student to confirm that their email is the email they want to continue to use as their sign in email. Once the sign in email is selected, it cannot be changed. A password update is also required. The student is then taken directly to the 2nd and 3rd step in which they review their account info, and determine if they would like to link the additional associated accounts.

In this situation, a student is logging in with a unique username after the implementation of our new ID management system. Students are required to change their usernames to their email addresses. This may be the email address on file or a new one. Once the sign in email is selected, it cannot be changed. A password update is also required. Our objective is to inform students that the unique username they signed in with in the past will no longer work, and the email they designate will now be used instead. The student is then taken directly to the 2nd and 3rd step in which they review their account info, and determine if they would like to link the additional associated accounts.
